Hung Kings Festival on April 10, 2022

The celebration this year conveys the theme of "Hung Kings Land - Sacred Root", and will praise the tenth commemoration of the acknowledgment of the love of the Hung Kings in Phu Tho by the UN legacy organization UNESCO as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritages in 2012.

The occasion will incorporate incense offering functions to the country's father Lac Long Quan and the country's mother Au Co, and to the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site on Nghia Linh Mountain in Phong Chau.

Flower contributions will occur at the landmark to President Ho Chi Minh, a model highlighting the President chatting with troopers from the Vietnam People's Army. Regions around the Hung Temple will put together cart parades with restricted members guaranteeing COVID-19 avoidance and control measures are noticed.

The Hung Kings Temple Festival is perhaps the most significant and consecrated celebration of the Vietnamese individual and is profoundly inserted in the personalities of each Vietnamese resident, paying little mind to what territory they come from.

It is held every year from the eighth to the eleventh day of the third lunar month. The conventional celebration praises the Vietnamese individuals' predecessors - the Hung Kings. They are accepted to have governed the country for 18 ages.
