Continue to the cultural heart of Bali before discovering the extraordinary Komodo National Park, home to the legendary Komodo dragons and stunning pink beaches.   • Arrival at Jakarta International Airport (CGK). Meet by the hotel representative and transfer by shared hotel shuttle to the hotel.

    Overnight at FM Hotel, conveniently located at Jakarta Airport.
  • Transfer arranged by the hotel to the airport for the flight to Pangkalan Bun, the gateway to Tanjung Puting National Park, located on the island of Borneo (locally known as Kalimantan).

    Upon arrival, meet the English-speaking local guide (Spanish-speaking guide not available) and transfer by car to Kumai Harbor, where you will board a traditional wooden Klotok boat, specially designed for river navigation.

    Cruise along the river surrounded by lush vegetation such as Nipa palms, Pandanus, and other riverside trees. Along the way, observe wildlife including birds, macaques, proboscis monkeys, and possibly orangutans. If time permits, visit Tanjung Harapan to witness orangutan feeding time.

    Continue cruising along the riverbanks to observe and learn more about proboscis monkeys, an endemic species found only in Borneo.
    Dinner and overnight on board the houseboat.

    Notes:
    The boat crew consists of a captain, a local guide, and a cook.
    Boat facilities and services in Borneo are basic and simple.
    It is recommended to bring mosquito repellent, long trousers, and long-sleeved shirts for protection against mosquitoes, especially at night and early morning.
  • Full day dedicated to visiting orangutan feeding stations, timed according to their daily feeding schedule.

    The detailed program will be arranged by your local guide within Tanjung Puting National Park, offering a fascinating setting rich in local flora and fauna.

  • Early departure to the airport for the flight to Semarang.

    Upon arrival, meet and transfer approximately 4 hours by road to the hotel in the Borobudur area.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

    Departure to visit Borobudur Temple, an immense Buddhist monument constructed from thousands of volcanic and river stone blocks. Built entirely by human labor, the temple took more than 75 years to complete. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site remains breathtaking, featuring magnificent carvings and a massive yet remarkably harmonious structure.

    Continue to visit Mendut and Pawon Temples, two smaller temples that are older than Borobudur.

    Afterwards, enjoy a glimpse into local village life with a horse-drawn carriage ride through Candirejo Village. Known locally as a dokar, the carriage will take you through quiet village lanes lined with traditional houses. Stops include observing local activities such as cassava cookie making, playing gamelan music, and drying vanilla and chili peppers.

    Overnight in the Borobudur area.

    Note:
    Access to the upper levels of Borobudur is not guaranteed and depends on visitor numbers on the day.
    Ascending the temple is done in groups and accompanied by a local temple guide; the tour guide cannot accompany guests to the upper levels.
    Temples are closed on Mondays.
  • Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel in the Borobudur area and transfer to Yogyakarta city center.

    Visit the Sultan’s Palace, also known as the Kraton, the symbolic heart of Javanese cosmology. Built between 1756 and 1790, this complex is an outstanding example of traditional Javanese sultanate architecture.

    Continue to Taman Sari, the Water Palace and garden complex. Constructed over 200 years ago by the first Sultan, this royal complex once served as a bathing area for the Sultan’s harem.

    In the afternoon, visit Prambanan Temple, located approximately 17 km from Yogyakarta. This impressive Hindu temple complex is renowned for its intricate carvings depicting the gods Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma, and is the largest Hindu sanctuary in Indonesia.

    Check in at the hotel in Yogyakarta.

    Note: The temples and the Sultan’s Palace are closed on Mondays.
  • Early morning transfer to the train station to board a train heading to East Java (approximately 3–4 hours).

    Arrival in Surabaya or Mojokerto, followed by an overland transfer of approximately 3 hours to reach your hotel in the Bromo area.

    Notes:
    Trains between Yogyakarta and East Java are basic and cannot be compared to train services in more developed countries.
    However, traveling by train in Java offers a wonderful opportunity to interact with local people and is one of the best ways to enjoy the volcanic landscapes of Central and East Java.
  • Departure from the hotel at 03:30 by 4x4 jeep to Mount Penanjakan, the best viewpoint to witness the spectacular Bromo sunrise and surrounding volcanic scenery.

    Continue by jeep to reach the crater of Mount Bromo.
    Return to the hotel for breakfast, then depart by car for an overland journey of approximately 8–9 hours to Ijen.

  • Early morning departure from the hotel by 4x4 jeep to Paltuding, the base camp of Mount Ijen.

    Begin a 3-kilometer hike along a dirt path, a moderate ascent taking approximately 1.5–2 hours, to reach the summit of Mount Ijen. Spend time enjoying the breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape before descending via the same route.

    Transfer to Ketapang Harbor and cross by ferry (approximately 30 minutes) to Gilimanuk Harbor in Bali.

    Continue by road for approximately 4–5 hours to reach your hotel in Ubud.

  • Free day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore Ubud at your own pace.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up by local guide to visit Tirta Empul, the sacred water temple whose spring is believed to have been created by a deity and endowed with healing properties. The site features a long rectangular stone pool fed by holy water flowing through 12 sacred fountains.

    Continue to Kintamani, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and semi-active volcanoes.

    On the return journey to Ubud, visit Penglipuran Village, a well-preserved traditional Balinese village known for its unique layout and orderly architecture, located at approximately 700 meters above sea level.

  • At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for the flight to Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park.

    Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Labuan Bajo.

  • At 06:30 , pick-up by driver and shared transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbor. Depart by shared speedboat to explore Komodo National Park.

    First stop at Padar Island, one of the best trekking spots in the park, offering spectacular views of the famous three-colored bays: white sand beach, black sand beach, and pink sand beach.

    Proceed to Pink Beach, the most vibrant pink beach in Komodo National Park, an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling.

    Continue to Loh Liang, home of the legendary Komodo dragons, the largest lizards on Earth. Observe these impressive creatures in their natural habitat during a guided walk with a park ranger.

    Next destination is Manta Point, one of the most famous snorkeling sites in the central area of the park, where you may have the chance to encounter the gentle manta rays (note: sightings cannot be guaranteed).

    The final stop is Turtle Bay or Siaba Bay, one of the favorite snorkeling areas in the central part of Komodo National Park.

    Return to Labuan Bajo and transfer back to the hotel.

  • Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Bali.

    Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Nusa Dua.
