The bridge was designed by architect Marco Casamonti (Italian) inspired by the painting The Creation Of Adam by painting genius Michelangelo and the O Thuoc bridge in the legend of Ong Ngau and Ba Ngau. The Kissing Bridge consists of two branches, North and South, with a total length of 800 m, forming a unified whole but not touching but 30 cm apart.
