CAMBODIA 2026 - Empowers Young Students with New Playground in Siem Reap

Siem Reap, Cambodia - Tourism is only as meaningful as the lives it touches. For all of us at Aurora Travel & DMC, every journey across Cambodia is made unforgettable by the warmth, grace, and smiles of its people. That is why giving back to the communities that welcome our travelers with open arms is not just an initiative—it is the very heartbeat of how we sustain our business and nurture the destinations we call home.

This year, our team returned to a rural primary school in Siem Reap for our 2026 CSR program, driven by a simple wish: to bring pure joy, safety, and opportunity to young hearts.

Aurora Team Setting Up The New Playground

For years, the children had only bare, uneven dirt patches to run on during recess. Our team rolled up their sleeves to design and rebuild a safe, colorful playground. Seeing the schoolyard fill with unrestrained laughter, bright smiles, and energetic playtime on day one reminded us why these moments matter so deeply. Play is where childhood thrives, friendships grow, and spirits are lifted.

We also listened to the quiet struggles of families living in remote surrounding villages. Many young students endure long, exhausting walks under the hot sun every day just to reach their classrooms. To ease their journey, Aurora gifted brand-new bicycles to the most vulnerable children. With their new bikes, their commute is no longer a daily struggle, but an exciting ride toward learning and a brighter tomorrow.

Students Recieve Their New Bike

As travelers explore the ancient wonders of Siem Reap, we remain devoted to protecting its living soul—its children. Caring for our local communities is how we ensure tourism remains a gentle, lasting force for good.
