The Hue Lotus Festival Will Take Place From June 4 To 5

Hue Lotus Festival 2022, with the theme "The quintessence of heaven and earth," will take place from June 4 to 5 in Tu Tuong Park, according to the Provincial Department of Tourism. This is a response activity to the Summer Festival as part of Hue Festival 2022.

The festival aims to boost domestic tourism, promote Thua Thien Hue tourism's return to normalcy, and affirm Hue's reputation as Vietnam's traditional festival city by introducing unique traditional festivals, new forms of travel experiences, and bringing creativity to visitors and the local community.

Hue Lotus Festival 2022 will create a true scene of the lotus flower, providing a perspective of "truth, kindness, and beauty" to a highly significant flower through lotus-based items.

The festival's main events include an opening ceremony on June 4th, which will be combined with a performance of the "Lotus" ao dai collections; the introduction of lotus cuisine, which will include a variety of savory and vegetarian dishes made with lotus ingredients, as well as lotus tea, lotus seed sweet soup, lotus jam, and other lotus-related items; and an exhibition of lotus-related art products.
