The World Tourism Conference 2022 Will Take Place in Malaysia

From November 28 to 30, Malaysia will hold the 6th World Tourism Conference (WTC 2022) in Sabah state on Borneo island.

(VNA) Kuala Lumpur - From November 28 to 30, Malaysia will hold the 6th World Tourism Conference (WTC 2022) in Sabah state on Borneo island.

WTC is a prestigious triennial event hosted by Malaysia with assistance from the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The event, with the topic "Tourism Futures Reimagined," is scheduled to draw 700 attendees from abroad and within the country.
They include ministers of tourism, important government officials, academics, and prominent figures from the global sector. On July 27, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (Motac), paid Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor a courtesy visit at his office in Menara Kinabalu.

Motac, the Sabah government, and the Sabah Tourism Board would work together strategically to organize WTC 2022, she added.
