Overnight stay in Bangkok -
Early birds might want to consider visiting a local temple and joining the locals as they wait for the monks to pass by. The monks will pause while you "make merit" by placing food and flowers in their bowls.
Among the many things to do in Bangkok, these two are absolute musts: The Reclining Buddha, a huge lying Buddha covered in gold leaf, can be found inside Wat Pho. The Grand Palace, a perfect embodiment of a bygone Siamese court, stands on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, also known as the "River of Kings." Within the grounds, at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Pra Kaew), is the most sacred and valuable image of the Lord Buddha in all of Thailand.
Genius the waterways of Thonburi and the Chao Phraya Rivers (canals). The city's tranquil residences and temples that line the waterways have received it the nickname "Venice of the East," to take pictures of the tranquil homes and temples that line the waterways. Don't miss the Temple of Dawn, so-called for the glazed ceramics found there.Notes:• Tour duration: Full day (08.00-17.00)• The monk's chanting ritual only in the morning and subject to change without prior notice• For the temple visits, women should wear short/long-sleeved tops with full-length trousers or knee-length skirts while men should wear trousers and short/long-sleeved shirts. Go behind the scenes at different restaurants and food stalls around the city to see how the famous specialties (Khao Man Gai, Pad Thai, and Guay Tiew Kua Gai) are prepared.
