Vietnam Airlines Commences Direct Hanoi-Mumbai Air Route, Enhancing Connectivity

Vietnam's national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, has recently inaugurated a direct air route connecting Hanoi and Mumbai in India. This new route aims to bolster trade relations and foster socio-cultural connectivity between the two nations, further strengthening the existing air link between Vietnam and India's capital, New Delhi.

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines, Trinh Ngoc Thanh, emphasized the airline's commitment to expanding its network of routes and providing passengers with more travel options. Mumbai, known as India's financial, commercial, and cultural hub, was chosen for its significance.

The Hanoi-Mumbai route will operate four flights per week, scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To celebrate the launch of this service, Vietnam Airlines is offering special fares, allowing travelers to enjoy a round-trip ticket, including taxes and fees, for just $199.

These promotional prices are available for ticket purchases made until May 26, with eligible flights falling between May 20 and 26. Passengers can take advantage of this opportunity to explore the vibrant cities of Hanoi and Mumbai, experience their unique cultures, and expand business and leisure connections between Vietnam and India.
