Drones Paint Nha Trang Sky With Light

The sky above Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province was illuminated with a stunning display of light as over 1,650 drones took flight during the Nha Trang Beach Festival. This mesmerizing drone light show, held at April 2 Square, showcased some of Vietnam's most beloved travel destinations, captivating the audience and promoting tourism in the coastal town.

Among the illuminated images was the swiftlet, a symbol representing Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa Province, signifying aspirations for progress and success. The synchronized drones moved in harmony, painting vibrant pictures in the night sky with their programmed light patterns.

Themed "Khanh Hoa - Aspiration for Development," this year's Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival featured a diverse range of over 70 activities. However, it was the opening night on June 3 that truly stole the show, as a grand performance involving 1,653 unmanned aerial vehicles took center stage.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Culture and Sports meticulously arranged the drone lights to form intricate shapes with mesmerizing lighting effects. Each drone was lightweight, weighing 527g, and featured LED arrays following the standard RGB color system. The drones showcased their dazzling performance for a maximum of 20 minutes, with 15 minutes dedicated to presenting motion picture frames. Flying up to a maximum altitude of 250m and operating within a radius of 250m, they filled the night sky with a mesmerizing spectacle that left spectators in awe.
