Laos Gets A Warm Welcome from AirAsia

 1 June 2022, AirAsia will restart flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Vientiane and Luang Prabang in Laos.

It is simple to travel to Laos if you are completely immunized. To fly, they only need to show current proof of vaccination. There are no requirements for Covid-19 testing or quarantine, and there is no law requiring the purchase of Covid-19 health insurance, yet it is prudent to have appropriate health insurance to be safe.

Members of AirAsia can book a one-way THB1,990 fare on the AirAsia Super App until midnight on May 22nd for travel from June 1, 2022 to March 25, 2023.

"AirAsia Thailand is currently flying to eight countries on 20 flights, accounting for over 20% of our pre-Covid-19 network, indicating a solid resurgence in the tourism sector," stated Santisuk Klongchaiya, the airline's CEO.

AirAsia currently operates flights to eight countries on 20 routes, including direct flights from Bangkok to Laos (Vientiane, Luang Prabang), Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang), Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru), Indonesia (Bali), Singapore, India (Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Jaipur), and the (Kuala Lumpur). All routes are operated under AirAsia's strong health and safety precautions and allow for travel without the requirement for quarantine.
