Cambodia - International Travelers Increase 125% in First Quarter of 2022

According to Ministry of Tourism data, Vietnamese travelers led the Kingdom's tourism market list with 46,303 visitors in January-March, followed by Thai tourists with 39,615. With 12,804 visitors, Chinese tourists came in third, while American visitors surged to 8,820.

Since March 17, 2022, Cambodia has relaxed entrance rules to enable travel and enhance tourism, investment, and trade. 
The necessity for a COVID-19 PCR negative test within 72 hours of arrival in Cambodia, as well as a quick test upon arrival at the airport, was abolished.

Those who have been fully inoculated are not required to be quarantined, but those who have not been fully inoculated must be quarantined for 14 days at a place designated by the Ministry of Health or authorized authorities.

In the meantime, Cambodian outbound travelers totaled 30,410, up 452 percent from the same period in 2021.

Since November of last year, Cambodia's high immunization rate has allowed the country to completely restart its socio-economic activities.
